Sueca — free online Card game
Portugal's partnership card game: 40 cards, the dealer's trump, aces and sevens — take more than 60 of 120.
Sueca is free to play in your browser: the card game played in every Portuguese café and family gathering, two against two with a computer partner. It uses a 40-card deck (no 8s, 9s or 10s) and each player gets ten cards. The dealer's last card is shown to everyone and its suit is trumps. You must follow the suit that was led if you can; otherwise you may trump or throw anything. Inside a suit the order is ace, seven, king, jack, queen, then 6 down to 2, and the cards are worth 11, 10, 4, 3 and 2 points — 120 in all. Take more than 60 to win a game, 91 or more for two (capote) and all 120 for four (bandeira); the first team to four games wins the match. Three computer levels; the hard one remembers which suits each player has run out of. No download, no sign-up.

How to play Sueca
- Sueca uses 40 cards: the 8s, 9s and 10s are taken out. Each player gets ten.
- The dealer's last card is turned face up for everyone to see: its suit is trumps. It stays in the dealer's hand until played.
- The player to the dealer's right leads. Everyone must follow the suit led if they can; if not, they may trump or play any card.
- The highest trump wins the trick; with no trump, the highest card of the suit led. The winner leads next.
- Inside a suit the order is ace, 7, king, jack, queen, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Aces are worth 11, sevens 10, kings 4, jacks 3 and queens 2 — 120 points in the deck.
- After ten tricks: more than 60 points wins one game, 91 or more two games, all 120 four games. At 60–60 nobody scores. The first team to four games wins.

Tips
- Lead aces of plain suits early, before an opponent can trump them.
- When your partner is winning the trick, add points ("carregar") — a seven or an ace if it is safe.
- Don't lead your seven while the ace of that suit is still out.
- Count trumps: once they are gone, every high card you hold is a winner.
