Reef Net Fishing — free online Arcade game
Aim the cannon, cast the net and haul in glowing giants from the reef.
Reef Net Fishing is a free online 3D arcade fishing game. Look down on a shallow coral reef, aim the cannon and fire a net shell: when it hits a fish or the sea floor the net opens, and every fish inside gets its own catch roll — the more a fish is worth, the harder it is to hold. Each shot costs coins and every catch pays out, so choose your targets. Upgrade the cannon through seven levels for wider nets and better odds at a higher cost per shot, switch between the reef lagoon with its shipwreck and the blue hole where rare fish rise from the deep, and fill a catch log of 47 species, including six glowing giants. Coins are virtual and can never be bought. Play with a mouse or touch in your browser, with no download and no sign-up.
Quick start
- Move the mouse (or your finger) over the water to aim.
- Click or tap to fire a net shell.
- Every fish caught in the net pays coins — spend them on bigger cannons.
How to play Reef Net Fishing
- You look straight down on a shallow reef full of fish. The cannon sits at the bottom of the screen and fires toward your crosshair.
- A shell flies until it hits a fish or the sea floor, then the net opens. Every fish inside gets its own catch roll.
- The more a fish is worth, the harder it is to hold: small reef fish are caught often, legendary giants only rarely.
- Each shot costs coins and every catch pays out. A fish’s value depends on its rarity and its weight.
- Upgrade the cannon in the shop. There are seven levels: higher levels cost more per shot but cast wider nets and catch better.
- Switch between two scenes in the top bar: the reef lagoon with its shipwreck, and the blue hole, where epic and legendary fish rise from the deep.
Controls
- Aim: move the mouse, or touch the water
- Fire: click or tap
- Cannon level: the − / + buttons in the top bar (up to the highest level you have bought)
- Shop, catch log and achievements: buttons in the top bar
Tips
- Low-level shots are cheap — use them on schools of small fish.
- Save higher cannon levels for rare and glowing fish; they are worth many times more.
- Fish deeper in the water look smaller and cast a longer shadow: that is often a valuable one.
- In the blue hole, watch the hole in the middle — rare fish come out of it.
