Quick start

  1. Press start and choose your language on the first screen.
  2. Click the map to ride around, visit a town and recruit your first troops.
  3. Fight bandits for loot and renown, then take quests from lords.

How to play WebBand

  1. You lead a small party across a procedurally generated map of rival kingdoms, towns, castles and villages.
  2. Towns let you recruit and upgrade troops, buy equipment and trade goods. Prices follow supply and demand, so buy cheap and sell where goods are scarce.
  3. Meeting a hostile party starts a real-time battle seen from above. Formations, morale, damage types and shields all matter.
  4. Quests from lords and ladies earn money and relations; renown lets you lead a bigger army.
  5. Grow strong enough and you can serve a kingdom, take part in its wars and lay siege to castles.

Controls

  • Map: click where you want to go.
  • Screens: M, C, P, I and Q switch between the main panels.
  • Esc closes a window; Enter presses its main button.
  • Touch screens: in battle the left stick walks and the right stick aims your sword; lift to swing.
