Sakura Idle — free online Open Source game
Grow one ancient cherry tree from a winter bud to the Everblossom.
Sakura Idle is a free online idle game about one ancient cherry tree, drawn in real-time 3D with an anime cel-shaded look. Shake the tree to loosen petals, hire spirits to gather them, buy upgrades and carry the tree through six bloom stages, then start a new season to grow stronger. Dawn, day, dusk and night pass over the pond and the shrine, and live events like petal storms and a full moon change the pace. Everything, from the bark to the music, is generated in code. Sakura Idle is open-source software by danmana; play it in your browser with no download and no sign-up.

- Buy upgrades and watch the tree move through its bloom stages.
How to play Sakura Idle
- Petals are the main currency. Shaking the tree earns them by hand; Tenders earn them automatically.
- There are ten Tenders, and owning enough of one unlocks milestone multipliers for it.
- Upgrades boost your clicks, your Tenders and the tree itself, carrying it through six bloom stages.
- Starting a new Season resets the tree in exchange for permanent bonuses on a radial Constellation.
- Live events such as a Petal Storm, a Full Moon or a Golden Petal you can catch give short boosts, and progress continues while you are away.
Controls
- Shake the tree: click it or press Space.
- Buy Tenders: keys 1 to 9.
- Panels: Tab cycles through them, Esc closes them.
